Lila Strandlien and Don Trefz chosen as Out Standing Senior Citizens for Clearwater County. Dee Strandlien and Al Paulson, organizers for the event. This was the 40th  year that it has been done at the county fair. Elsie Teigland, Opal Dahl and Loulla Rydeen were the three ladies selected and  they did not get a man until 1978 when August Marsh was named for the county.  Door prizes were given by Karen Lenius and they went to Perry Loiland, Tim Shelquist, Grace Borud and Ruth LaFontaine.
