Friends in the Kitchen held Final Spring Cooking Class
On May 12 “Friends in the Kitchen” held the last cooking class for Spring 2026 at the Bagley American Legion. Angie lead the class along with her assistant Connie through three healthy and VERY tasty recipes. This class the recipes were Mini Cheddar & Chive Soda Biscuits, Creamy Lemon Pasta Primavera with Chicken, and Strawberry Shortcake Nice Cream. They were so good! There have been recipes over time that some attendees said they would not have tried based on the title of the recipe, but after tasting the foods that certainly changed.
Friends in the Kitchen is a cooking class for those looking for ways to cook and eat healthy without spending a lot of money. This class helps those with mobility limitations or dietary needs that can be challenging in the kitchen.
In this class guests learn how to create healthy, affordable, easy to make meals and at the same time make new friends. There is NO CHARGE to attend. “Friends in the Kitchen” will reconvene August, September and October. Class dates are printed in the local paper and on social media platforms.
The Spring 2026 classes were sponsored by Sanford Health, Clearwater Polk Electric, Clear Water Life Center, Bagley American Legion, Galen’s Fresh Food Market and Split Oak Farm
