Services held for June Ellen Neal

 

She was born in Gonvick, MN to Gust E. and Caroline Melander on June 27, 1924. She was the first in her family to graduate from high school. Because the farm was so far from town, she moved in with a family in town for her senior year. After graduation, she and a girlfriend took a train to Seattle where she started working at Boeing. It was there she met Frank Neal and they were married April 4, 1943. They were married 62 years until his passing in 2004.

 

She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi for 42 years and was active in the Moose Lodge for many years. She became a member of the Grand Council in the Women of the Moose which was quite an honor. She worked at J C. Penney’s for many years.

 

She is survived by her children, Kenneth, Barbara (John) Runions, Deborah and Stephen. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were held on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Bonney Watson Funeral Home in Seatac, WA.
