RLCC Volleyball Spotlight on Scholarship

The Minnesota State High School League recently awarded 19 Spotlight on Scholarship volleyball certificates to Red Lake County Central High School students in grades 9-12 for their achievements in the classroom and their participation in athletics during the fall season of 2017.
The Spotlight on Scholarship recipients have to meet certain requirements, a few which state that students be a member of a varsity, junior varsity or “B” squad (sophomore) athletic or fine arts team. Students in grades seven through nine who are on varsity, junior varsity, or “B” squad teams are eligible for this award program. Students involved in Robotics and Clay Target are also eligible for this award.
Receiving Spotlight on Scholarship certificates for Mustangs Volleyball were (Seniors) Hannah Kolstoe, Megan Smith, (Juniors) Julia Bernstein, Sarah Christensen, Sydnie Gunderson, Lacey Pendelton, Hannah Riendeau, (Sophomores) Brandie DeHate, Calyssa Eskeli, Jayden Iverson, Sophie Linder, Sidney Olson, Jenna Pahlen, Tanisha Srnsky, (Freshmen) Kia Bachand, Emily Kolstoe, Karena Melby, Janae Olson, and Katelyn Suchy.
