RLC Rebels Football Awards

The Red Lake County Rebels football held their Football Awards Banquet on Monday, November 9 in Red Lake Falls. Their head coach, Brian Remick, was the speaker and handed out the awards for the night.
The letter winners were: Seniors- Marcus Christensen, Will Duden, Seth Johnson, Taylor Kenfield, Brendan Krueger, Devin Lambert, Alan Nemec, Bailey Schmitz, Wyatt Waldal, and Austin Waliser. The juniors included: Josh Casavan, Mason Hanson, Brandon Klipping, Brandon Lee, Devin Paradis, Talon Porter, and Javier Ramirez. The sophomores were: Seth Paradis, Ethan Vettleson, and Matt Vettleson. The only freshmen was Connor Lambert.
The most valuable Northwest District Special Team’s Player was Austin Waliser. Waliser also was named All Northwest District. Bailey Schmitz and Will Duden received All Northwest District along with Waliser. Dylan Gustafson, Seth Johnson, and Marcus Christenson were Honorable Mentions.
There were six team awards given out that night. Bailey Schmitz was presented the Rebel Pride Award and the Mr. Football Award. Will Duden got the Defensive Point’s Leader and The Hardest Worker Awards. Connor Lambert was given The Most Improved Player Award. Wyatt Waldal received the Coaches’ Award.
