Rebels vs Bombers

The Waubun boys’ basketball team traveled to Red Lake Falls on Saturday, January 28th to play the Red Lake County Rebels. The Rebels shot 23% and had 39 rebounds. The Bombers shot 34% and had 34 rebounds. At half time the score was 12-31, Rebels trailing. The final score was 27-58, a tough loss for the Rebels. 

Ethan Vettleson had 13 rebounds and scored six points for the Rebels. Brandon Wiskow scored four points, Isiah Olson four points, Matt Vettleson three points, Ben Cardinal three points, John Renner three points, Connor Lambert two points, and Jordan Johnson two points 

Waubuns’ leading scorer was Peyton Syverson with 21 points. He was followed by Dion Makey with 19 points. Also scoring for the Bombers were Logan Pazdernik with seven points, Treston Spalla with five points, Jaden Heisler with four points, and Will Bly with two points. Makey had 10 rebounds and four steals.
