2-0 victory for Chargers Volleyball

Last week, the 2017 Chargers volleyball team debuted on the court with a couple of home games in Goodridge that resulted in two big wins for the varsity team and new head coach, Katelyn Tharaldson!

August 28th vs. WAO in Goodridge

Coaches Comments: I am very proud of how hard the girls worked together to come out with a great win. They communicated, moved to get to the ball and were very aggressive at net. We have been working very hard in practice to communicate and get to the ball for a good pass up and tonight it showed that what we have been doing in practice is working. It was very fun getting that first win, I think the confidence is up and now it’s time we work harder to keep up our momentum.

Coaches Comments: Tonight’s game was another success for us as a team and I am proud of how hard the girls worked. We communicated effectively and moved to the ball. Overall we played very well as a team but for the next few days we will be working hard in the gym before we head up to Warroad next Tuesday. 

Upcoming games for Chargers Volleyball: Tuesday, September 5th, the team travels to Warroad. On Saturday, September 9th, the varsity girls have a tournament in Ada at 9am. The ‘C’ team has a tournament in Hallock at 9am. Monday, September 11th, 7/8 grade heads to Plummer to play RLCC and Tuesday, September 12th, there is a home game in Grygla vs. Clearbrook/Gonvick.
