Sharon Kay Davis

Sharon Kay Davis, 65, of Bagley, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Sanford Fargo Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Atkins-Northland Funeral Home in Cloquet, Minnesota. Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery at Barnum, MN. A lunch will be served immediately following the service.
Sharon was born on June 5, 1961, in Sandstone, Minnesota, to Edwin Ralph Henninger and Alyce Louise Peterson Henninger. Sharon was baptized on May 13, 1962, at the Church of Brethren in Barnum, Minnesota, where she was raised on her family's rural farm. She attended Barnum Elementary School and Barnum High School. Sharon married Neil Davis, and together they made their home in Bemidji, Minnesota, where they lived for 20 years. In 2014, she returned to Barnum to spend time with her parents. In 2023, Sharon moved to Bagley to be closer to her children.
As a young woman, Sharon worked at Art's Cafe in Moose Lake. She was a creative soul who loved drawing and expressing herself through art. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. Country music was an important part of Sharon's life, and she enjoyed singing with “The North Country Shingdig”. She also had a deep love for cows, horses, and all animals. Sharon will be remembered as a determined, resilient, compassionate, and faith-driven woman whose love for family and gentle spirit touched many lives.
Sharon is survived by her former husband, Neil Davis of Bagley; her daughter, Jessica (Tyler Neill) Davis of Bagley; her daughter, Michelle (Justen) Purdie of Bemidji; her grandchildren, Seth Kleeb of Bemidji, and Harley Fowler and Alexander Wager-Neill of Bagley; her sister-in-law, Karen Henninger of Barnum; her niece, Jenny (Adam) Kiminski of Cloquet; her nephew, Jason (Leina) Holte of Eagan; and her special friend and cousin, Wendy Harding of Barnum.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Alyce Henninger; her sister, Barb Holte; her brother, Loren Henninger; and her infant daughter, Baby Amanda.
