Services for Tereasa Dawn Hanson

Tereasa Dawn Hanson, 53, of Redwing, Minnesota, formerly of Clearbrook, died unexpectedly on Friday, August 2, 2019 in Bagley, MN.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 1:00 -3:00 p.m. at the Clearwater Lutheran Church in Shevlin, Minnesota with the service to start at 1:00 pm. Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.

She was born on October 2, 1965 in Fosston, MN to Harlow Dean and Janice Lou (Evje) Anderson. She attended Clearbrook High School. She married David Hanson on August 29, 1987 in Clearbrook, MN. They had two sons together, Derek and Dustin. Tereasa was currently living in Redwing, MN.

She is survived by her sons Derek (Jen and Korra) Hanson of Fridley, MN and Dustin (Ashley) Hanson of Parker’s Prairie, her brother Barron (Melissa) Anderson of Zimmerman, MN and sister Twila (Kevin) Grau of Florence, KY, nieces Chelsie Edwards, Christie (Adrian) Agapie, nephew John Edwards and stepmother Judy Anderson of Bagley, MN.  Also surviving is her friend Thomas Kratt of Red Wing, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harlow Anderson and Janice Anderson and her grandparents Ray & Viola Evje.

Terri was very involved in community events including different church groups such as WELCA, youth group leadership and cancer society. She was also a part of a bowling league for many years. Everyone who knew her, knew she had a big heart and loved to help and care for others. Terri loved to laugh and enjoy life. Her adventurous spirit was captured in her love of camping and traveling. Terri loved spending time with her family and was looking forward to the birth of her first grandchild and the upcoming wedding of her youngest son.  She will always be in our thoughts and her laughter will forever live on in our hearts.
