Our dear “Suzer” Suzanne Marie Nelson, 36, of Bagley, Minnesota passed peacefully at home with her family by her side on Thursday, August 31, 2023.
Suzer attended and graduated from Bagley High School. She attended San Diego Art Institute, transferred to Minneapolis, and then realized she was a country girl at heart, returning home to Bagley. She worked side by side with her mother and brother bear Brandon at Westside Express and many places bartending and serving others. Her big heart touched many lives. Her love was her family, friends, pets, flowers, and traveling. Especially to Mexico and the Ocean.
Services will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fireside Grill, Hwy 2 West Bagley. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.
Suzer is survived by her mother Eva Vorderbruggen, Father Bryan Nelson, Brother Bear Brandon (Kelly) Nelson, her “other mothers” Mary Gerbracht and Pam Everhart, her “other sisters” Katie Back and Jessie Mendoza and her little love, Goddaughter Adilyn Back.
She was preceded in death by her Grandparents David and Ruth Vorderbruggen and Grace and Weldon Nelson; her Aunt Terry Highberg; Uncle Mike Vorderbruggen; and Cousin Josh Highberg.
