Mildred “Ann” Crane, 90, of Gonvick MN passed away on September 21, 2024 at Cornerstone Memory Care in Bagley, MN.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, September 27th, 2024, at the Samhold Lutheran Church in Gonvick, MN with Pastor Will Anderson officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, rural Fosston, MN. Arrangements are with the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bagley.
Ann was born January 28, 1934 at home in Tenstrike, MN the daughter of John and Violet Pemble. She was raised and attended school in Tenstrike and Blackduck, MN.
After high school Ann married and had two children. She worked at the Blackduck Bakery and later at the American Linen Company in Bemidji, MN.
Ann married Tilford Crane on May 26, 1979 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. They resided in Gonvick, MN where they owned and operated Crane’s Meat Market until she retired in February 2007.
Ann was baptized at Bethlehem Lutheran Church and confirmed at Samhold Lutheran Church. She was a member of the American Legion where she enjoyed working the fish fry on Friday nights and also a member of the Samhold Ladies Aide. Ann enjoyed camping, fishing, being with family and friends, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, going for drives, spending time at their lake lot on Pine Lake and watching “Sandstone County Music” station with Tilford.
Ann is survived by her husband Tilford of 46 years, son Wade, stepchildren Roger (Gail), Diane (Doug), Kevin (Jackie), Janet, her sister Nancy, 9 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents Violet and John, daughter Wendy, brothers Jack, Pete, Steve and sister Janet, an unborn grandchild and great-grandson Mason.
