Kurt V. Johnson
Kurt V. Johnson, June 4, 1965 - December 26, 2023.
Kurt was born to Virgil and Janice Johnson in Tracy, MN.
Kurt was baptized in the Lutheran faith on July 4th, 1965 in Lamberton, MN and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran in Plummer.
Kurt attended Pershing High School in Plummer, graduating in 1983.
Kurt worked at Cenex in Brooks and American Crystal Sugar after high school.
Kurt made his home in Columbia, MO.
He worked at various jobs in Missouri such as U-Haul, Walmart Auto Center, Midmo Catering and his current job at American Air Filter for 15 years.
While in Missouri he met the le of his life, Nancy. Kurt and Nancy were married on September 27, 2012. His wife was what he lived for, always writing love letters to her.
Kurt loved to play cards, go golfing, grilling, taking his boat out fishing and he was an extreme Minnesota Vikings fan. He loved to be in game pools. Skol!
Kurt is survived by: his mother Janice Johnson and friend Wes of Brooks. Sister Dawn (David) Kreitzer of Brooks. Brother David (Becky) Johnson of Wood Lake, MN. Sister Tammi (Doug) Hagen of Erskine. Nephews: Matthew, Taylor & Logan Holsapple; John (Rachel) Kreitzer; Zeke (Skylar) Johnson, Tanner (Adrianna) Johnson; and Dylan Hagen. Survived by Great nieces and nephews; Asher, Boone, Luella, and Everly Johnson; Weston, Henry, and Ensley Kreitzer.
Survived by; Nancy's sons Gerald and Allen. Several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Kurt is proceeded in death by his grandparents, father, baby brother, aunts, uncle and the love of his life, wife Nancy on December 24th, 2023.
Graveside services will be January 20th, 2024 at Emardville Cemetery in rural Plummer. After services a gathering will be at the Brooks Hall in Brooks, MN.
