Arthur Orville Dolalie of Bloomington, Minnesota passed away on November 18, 2017 at a nursing home in Shakopee.
Services for Arthur were held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Dawn Valley Chapel in Bloomington with interment at the Dawn Valley Memorial Park.
Arthur was born on December 15, 1921 to parents Aslak and Olga (Otness) Dolalie in Farmington, Montana. In 1937 his family moved to a farm northeast of Gonvick. As a young man Art farmed for a few years and then began a career operating heavy construction equipment. Art spent time working in Greenland, Washington, Montana and finally in the Twin Cities area operating a tower crane during the construction of many high rise buildings. He married Magdalen Troiden in October of 1963.
Art is survived by his wife Magdalen, sister Julie Hansen, stepson Ronnie Troiden, granddaughters Shelly Downs, Leah Kleine, Alicia Decker and Alison Clark.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Glen Hansen and grandson Ronnie.
