Services for George W. McReynolds

George W. McReynolds, 89, Green Valley, Arizona passed away at  The Villas at Green Valley, February 23, 2018. 
George was born on November 10, 1928 to Clarence and Doris McReynolds.
He was a beekeeper, school teacher, school administrator, scout master and volunteer firefighter.  He faithfully served community and church, being involved in numerous organizations both in Clearbrook and, after he retired, in Green Valley.
He was married to Margaret (Halterman) for 62 years.
His greatest joy was his family, and he was affectionately called “Grandpa George Tic-Tacs” by his great-grandchildren. He had a zest for life, always curious, always learning, ever sharing his passions with others, never slowing down.
He is survived by daughter Susan Montague, sons Robert (Jenny) and Lee (Kathy); eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, all of Minnesota; and special friend Joyce Van Dyk of Green Valley.
He was preceded in death by parents Clarence and Doris, wife of 62 years Margaret Halterman, sister Mavis Brown, and brother Stanley.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m at Country Faith Church in Clearbrook, MN.
Memorials may be made to the Gideons International or to the Shepherd’s Fold Preschool, located at Green Valley Baptist Church, Green Valley, Arizona.
