Our beloved Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Dorthea Ann Peterson (85), passed away peacefully on February 7, 2023.
Dorthea was born and grew up in Marshall, MN. After graduating from High School, she moved to the Twin Cities with a couple of her girlfriends to work, and then she met Juel Peterson. They were married on June 7, 1957 and raised their three children in Bloomington, MN.
Survived by her children Patti (Brad), Paul (Pat), and Tom (Gayle); 6 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren; sisters Margaret Busselman, Judy Vickrey, and Shirley Salhus.
Preceded in death by husband, Juel Peterson; parents, Arthur and Stella Knutson; and sister, Marjorie Rysdahl.
A Service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25th at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at Washburn-McReavy Bloomington Chapel, 2300 W. Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, MN. Also, Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 27th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Leonard, MN with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be held at Seljord Lutheran Cemetery in Clearbrook, MN.
