Services for David Ivan Bernell Erickson

David Ivan Bernell Erickson, 77, of Clearbrook, Minnesota died on January 8, 2024 at St. Raphael Nursing Home in Valley City, North Dakota.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Clearbrook, Minnesota with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be held at Silver Creek Cemetery in Clearbrook, MN. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.
David was born in Clearbrook, MN on January 29, 1946 to Elmer and Anna (Jacobson) Erickson. He served our country honorably in the Army during the Vietnam War. He married Cheryll Goodwin on January 5, 1983 in Ebro and together they made their home in Clearbrook. He was a member of the Clearbrook Legion. As a millwright, David loved building and carpentry. He also enjoyed gardening and fishing. Above all though, he loved his family, especially his kids and grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryll Goodwin; his children, Mike Boone, Stanton Alexander, Clinton Alexander, and Lisa Brunner; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; his siblings, Elmer Erickson, Jr., Terry Erickson, Nancy Eck, Mickey Sundquist, and Mark Erickson; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Anna Erickson; and his siblings, Darlene (Donnie) Peterson and Gary Erickson.
