Services for David Carl Bergman

David Carl Bergman, 60, of Gonvick, Minnesota died on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at his home in Gonvick, MN.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Clearbrook, Minnesota. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be held Augustana Cemetery in the spring.
The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.
David was born on December 4, 1962, at Bagley, Minnesota, the son of Carl and Dolly (Anderson) Bergman. He was baptized at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on July 20th, 1971 and was also confirmed at Good Shepherd. David graduated from Clearbrook High School in 1981. In 1982, he married Dana Joy Haugen at Gonvick, MN. They lived in Minneapolis, MN and that is where they welcomed their first son Darin. David worked for Ceco in Minneapolis. He and his family moved to Canton, Georgia, where their second son Dylan was born. David worked for United Forming in Georgia as Superintendent for 25 plus years. In 2014, after retiring from United Forming, David moved back to his home state of Minnesota.
David enjoyed the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, and woodworking. Over the past few years, he cherished spending his time with Terri. They enjoyed going out to eat, having coffee, driving around the area together and watching wildlife. He went for a drive every morning and every night. Four-wheeling with friends always made for a great time. David loved gardening and canning, especially fish. He also made very tasty jerky. David was a soft-spoken man, with a dry sense of humor. His family meant a lot to him.
He is survived by son-Darin (Doran) Bergman of Lillington, North Carolina
Son-Dylan Bergman of Fort Collins, Colorado
Grandchildren – Tanner, Lilly, Chase and Hailey.
Companion– Terri Vorderbruggen of Clearbrook, MN
