Services for Cathy Jean (Horacek) Carlson

Cathy Jean (Horacek) Carlson passed away peacefully on May 14th, 2021 in Bemidji, MN.

Cathy is survived by her children, John (Janna) Carlson of Bemidji, MN, Michael (Angie) Carlson of Fargo, ND, Richard (Angie) Carlson of Big Lake, MN, and Heidi Carlson Seaton of Bemidji, MN; her brother, Russ Horacek of Moorhead, MN and her sister, Peggy Schaefer of North Babylon, NY.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret (Calder) Horacek; her sister, Laura (Horacek) Hinman; and her father, Edward Horacek.

Cathy was born February 14th, 1949 in Valley Stream, NY.  She spent the majority of her years in New York, Ohio, and Minnesota.  Cathy was an amazing mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend.  Her greatest joy came from her children; grandchildren Keaton, Mikaela, Mattea, Cassidy, Zach, Natalie, Samuel, Addisyn, Emma, and Gracie; and great granddaughter, Novalene.  She will be missed tremendously and loved forever.

Cathy's celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 4:00 -7:00 pm at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Bemidji.  Condolences may be left at ceasefuneralhome.com.
