Beverly Gail Anderson, age 77 years, died on October 16, 2023. Born on the 23rd of February 1946 at Fosston Hospital, Beverly was the daughter of C. Leo and Idella (Vennes) Anderson of rural Trail. While in school in Trail, she was the only student in her class from second through sixth grade. She attended junior and senior high school in Oklee, graduating in 1964.
She married Jeffrey Wayne Fieder, from which one daughter, Kristin Dawn Fieder, was born. In 1967, Beverly moved to Coeur d’Alene, where she was the district secretary for Idaho State Police. She and five other women were the first women ever to be employed at state police district offices. While living in Coeur d’Alene she participated in community theater and summer theater. Later she was a police officer at Spokane International Airport for two years. She was also a legal secretary, an officer manager, and an administrative assistant.
In 1986 Beverly moved back to Minnesota, and in 1987 she entered Bemidji State University as a non-traditional student where she was in the honors program, majoring in English. She minored in Art History and began an art program with an emphasis in ceramics before leaving college in 1991. She moved to Brainerd in 1992 and worked at a casino for a short time.
Beverly was an avid genealogist, and as a result of her research she enjoyed communicating with people from around the world. She also enjoyed reading, journaling, writing poetry, and arts and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents C. Leo and Idella (Vennes) Anderson and stepfather Lorenzo Eck. She is survived by her daughter Kristin (Jason) Fieder-Barron, granddaughter Ondraya (fiancé) James Wallin, great-grandson Gabriel Wallin, brother David L. (Shirley) Anderson, niece Tammie (Jeff) Christian, nephew Erik (Jackie) Anderson, nephew Craig (Tamera) Anderson, and many cousins and friends. She was fortunate to have a friend, Todd Wallin, who watched out for her well-being by doing errands and buying groceries. She also had a very special cat named Velcro who lived with her.

A graveside memorial service will be held in the spring at Sand Valley Lutheran Cemetery in Trail, MN.
