Services for Barbara Ellen Aos

Barbara Ellen Aos, 88, of Bagley, Minnesota died on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Cornerstone Assisted Living in Bagley, MN.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Sell Lake Lutheran Cemetery in, Shevlin, Minnesota with a time of visitation held prior from 12:00- 2:45 p.m. at the Cease Funeral Home in Bagley, MN. A potluck dinner will be held after the service at Amanda * & Colby Thorssen’s home 11442 370th Street Bagley, MN.
Barbara was born on March 8, 1933 to Alfred and Ellen Mary (Moss) Ellis in Greenwich, London, England. She grew up and attended school in England. She lived on Military Base in Germany Ramstien until 1959, until moving to a Military Base in Newark, NJ. In 1961, she lived in Wichita Falls, Texas before moving to
Lowrey Airforce Base in 1966. Barb lived in Denver until 1975, when she finally settled in Bagley, MN. Barb married Gordon Aos on March 11, 1971 at Aurora, CO and Gordon passed away on November 12, 1997. Barb worked in many places in her life such as Watson’s Pottery in England, PX (Post Exchange) on Base. She was a lunch lady at school and worked at many restaurants, including G&G Cafe in Bagley, in which he owned. Her husband hauled mobile homes and Barb did Mobile Home Staging and was a Flag Car driver for delivering Mobile Homes. Barb was a Foster Grandparent also at the school and enjoyed every minute of it.
She loved cooking, bowling, flowers, reading and crocheting.

She is survived by her children, Melody Skerik, Alan (Monica) Aos, Alice Aos, Gunder Aos, Bill (Ember) Roach, and LeeAnn (Antonio) Torres; her grandkids, Amanda (Colby) Thorssen, Michael (Darla) Gregory, Ashley (Jon) Hawkinson, Robert Roach, Cody (Cortney) Severson, Cory Fogelquist, Gordon Aos, Jayden Aos, and Enrico Capone; her great grandkids, Kali (Sonny) Knox, Lani Thorssen, Kayden Thorssen, Preston Stuhl, Sylvie Hawkinson, Ila Severson, and Will Severson; and her great great grandkids, Cinch Bakke, Lexie Knox, and Cheyenne Knox. Sisters – Carol (Eric) Hubbard and Veronica (Lou) Clarke; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, Alfred and Ellen Mary Ellis; her husband, Gordon Aos; her brothers, Vic Ellis, Brian Ellis, Alf Ellis, Lloyd Ellis, Raymond Ellis, Wally Ellis, Ronnie Ellis, and Philip Ellis; her sister, Vivian Snowling; and one grandson, Kristopher.
