Services for Alair (Thompson) Quickstad

Alair Janet (Thompson) Quickstad, age 76, of Milaca, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 1st, 2016 in St. Cloud at St. Benedict's Senior Community surrounded by loving family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Quickstad. She is survived by her loving companion, Jack Hulteen; son, Steven Quickstad (Connie), son, David Quickstad, daughter, Sandra Weibye (Les); grandchildren, Gabrielle, Jacob, Izabela Quickstad, Alex, Elliana, Emily Weibye; sister Ruth Johnson and brother Vic Thompson; nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and many friends.

Alair was born in Clearbrook, MN and after she graduated high school she moved to San Diego, CA where she met her (late) husband. Later, they moved to Milaca, MN where she called home. Alair worked for the Continental Telephone Company in Milaca for a number of years. Alair was always on the go.

She thoroughly enjoyed traveling with Jack where they shared many miles on the road exploring many adventures and never missed an opportunity for a memorable experience or a great photo. She always looked forward to their next trip together. Alair loved her family and friends. She was loved dearly and will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 11th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 735 2nd St SE, Milaca, MN. Private family interment at Fort Snelling Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church of Milaca, MN.
