Robert Arthur O’Dier
Robert Arthur O’Dier passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2026, in Bagley, Minnesota, at the age of 60.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Country Faith Church in Clearbrook, MN, at 11:00 am. A gathering of family and friends will be on Monday, June 29, 2026, at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bagley from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. and one hour prior to the services at the church.
Bob was born on April 5, 1966, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Jack and Judith Odier. He was the youngest of three children. In 1971, his family moved to Clearbrook, Minnesota, where they operated a dairy farm. Bob graduated from Clearbrook High School in 1984 and carried with him the strong work ethic, values, and love of farming that would define his life.
Bob began his career at Northwood Panelboard in 1984 and dedicated nearly 38 years to the company before retiring in May 2022. He was known as one of the hardest-working men around and took great pride in everything he did.
Bob was married to Julie Eck for 9 years, and together they welcomed two daughters, Ashley and Harleigh. In 1998, he married Sarah O’Dier, and with Sarah’s daughters, Mandy and Rio, they lovingly became their own version of “The Brady Bunch.”
An avid fisherman, hunter, and farmer, Bob felt most at home outdoors. He and Sarah shared a love of camping, fishing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and spending time with family. Bob knew no limits when it came to helping others. Family was the center of Bob's world and the greatest joy in his life.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Sarah O’Dier; daughters Mandy Eckman (Greg), Ashley Malterud (Mike), Harleigh Andres (Shawn), and Rio Davis (Robbie); sisters Jacqueline Ulrich (Doug) and Teresa Panka (Joe); many nieces and nephews, 14 grandchildren, beloved dogs, Pursi, Moochie, and Addy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Judith O’Dier.
Honorary Pallbearers: His grandchildren: Emily, Kristina, Nick, Hannah, Ella, Tatum, Emma, Rory, Brennan, Rory, Evelyn, Jack, Archer, and Kelly. They will miss their “Grumpy Grandpa”
Bob’s legacy lives on through the family he loved so fiercely, the friendships he nurtured, and the countless lives he touched with his generosity, compassion, and genuine heart. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
