Obituary for Robert “Bob” William Bergh

Robert “Bob” William Bergh, 85, of Pennington, MN died Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Neilson Place in Bemidji

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at the Moose Township Wildwood Cemetery in Pennington, MN under the direction of Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

Bob was born on October 20, 1937 at Lake Preston, South Dakota, the son of Carl and Matilda (Berg) Bergh. He was raised and educated in the Lake Preston area. In 1953, he moved to Pennington, MN with his family. He worked as a cook for many restaurants, most recently at the Hillcrest Supper Club. He enjoyed playing all sorts of keyboards including piano and accordion. He also performed an act of ventriloquism with his dummy “Jerry Pinosco” at many venues.

He is survived by his sister-in-law Carol Bergh,

brother-in-law Raymond (Elizabeth) Peterson,

and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Carl (Iver).
