Obituary for r Lowell “Pete” Jordan
Lowell “Pete” Jordan, 89, of Bagley, Minnesota entered into the presence of the Lord when he passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Monday, March 10, 2025.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at the Cease Family Funeral Home Chapel in Bagley, Minnesota. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Free Lutheran Church in Bagley, Minnesota with visitation one hour prior at the church. Interment will be held at the Silver Creek Cemetery in Clearbrook, MN. Military honors will be accorded by the Irvin Blix Post 16 American Legion of Bagley, MN.
The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.
Lowell Duane Jordan was born on February 28, 1936, in Hannah, North Dakota to parents Charles and Mary (Blair) Jordan. The Jordan’s were blessed with a family of 11 children. In 1941, the family moved to Bagley, MN, where Pete grew up, graduating from BHS in 1955. On January 13, 1955, Pete entered the United States Air Force. He served his country for three years before being honorably discharged on November 13, 1958, and served in the reserves until 1963.
On March 7, 1959, Pete married Karen Ness at the First Lutheran Church in Bagley. With this union, they were blessed with four lovely daughters, Lori, Kari, Jodi, and Jennifer. Being a kind and dependable father was of the utmost importance to Pete, and he certainly did not disappoint when it came to wholeheartedly loving his girls. Even though there were no boys in the home, it did not stop Pete from teaching his daughters the love of sports. Many rounds of golf were played and tossing a softball around the fields.
Pete worked at Clearwater Polk Electric for 25 years as an Office Manager before retiring in February 1999. He spent many years umping softball games at the frog pond. He also enjoyed playing cards, maintaining his yard, playing bingo and Keno. He had a love for all MN sports teams and very seldom missed a game. Watching his daughters play ball and carrying on the tradition to his grandchildren was a sure delight. Faith and Family were very important to Pete and he undoubtedly put them first, showing limitless, unconditional love.
Pete is survived by his wife of 66 years-Karen Jordan of Bagley, MN.

He is preceded in death by his parents- Charles and Mary Jordan; 5 brothers-Edward, Quentin, Bill, Hank, and Elmer and 4 sisters-Mildred, Beaty, Viola and Lois; In-laws-Mervin and Hilma Ness.
