Donna Rose Stenseng
Donna Rose Stenseng, 92, of, Bagley, Minnesota passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Neilson Place in Bemidji, Minnesota.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Leonard, Minnesota with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at Norway Lake Cemetery in Leonard, Minnesota in the spring. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.
Donna was born on November 28, 1933 in Holst Township, Minnesota to parents Josh and Rose (Courtney) Ingalls. She married Robert Stenseng on November 17, 1951. Donna had a special gift for making others feel cared for, often through her many talents in the kitchen. She loved baking, cake decorating, candy making, and was well known for her lefse. She also found great joy in gardening and took pride in maintaining her beautiful flower beds. In her free time, Donna enjoyed garage sales, rummage sales, and thrifting. She was always on the lookout for a good find. Donna also liked trips to the casino and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
Donna was a very active member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Her faith guided her life, and she served as a Sunday school teacher and superintendent, and was deeply involved in the Ladies Aid. Family was everything to Donna. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, and her “Town kids”. She carried that same care into her work, serving as a dedicated employee of Clearwater Nursing Service for over 20 years. A caregiver by nature, Donna continued that role at home, lovingly caring for her husband throughout his illness until his passing.
Donna is survived by her children, Nadine (Billy) Klasse and Aaron Stenseng; special daughter, Patricia Neadeau; grandchildren, Mike Klasse, Billie (Jeffrey) Farr, Kara (Doug) Waldvogel, Karron (AJ) Stenseng, and Sierra (Willam) Walker; great-grandkids, Macie, Marshall, Miller, Landon, Lydia, Kaylynn, Olivia, Andrew, Logan, Alaina, Carter, Jeffrey, James, Robert, and Colten; sister-in-law, Beverly Lundmark; and all of her “Town Kids”.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Josh and Rose; parents-in-law, Louis and Clara Stenseng; brothers, George (Yvonne) Ingalls, and Harold “Bunk” Ingalls; and brothers-in law, Dale Stenseng, Greg Lundmark, and Kenneth Stenseng.
