“Taste of Christmas” was a Tasty Success

On Sunday December 14 the Clearwater County History Center held their first “Taste of Christmas” during the Festival of Trees.  Over 60 guests enjoyed homemade treats free treats and walked through the beautifully decorated trees.

Volunteers and staff made treats such as Old Fashioned Fudge, Christmas Crack, Krumkake, Pizzelles, Caramel Puffs, Kringla and many different cookies.  Lefsa was cooked on site and the smell made its way through the center!  

The “Taste of Christmas” was such a success it may become an annual event!  

The Festival of Trees is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays 1:00 – 4:00 pm and Fridays from 1:00 – 7:00 pm, Saturdays 10:00 am – 4:00 pm and Sundays 12:00- 4:00 pm. 

The Community Choir will be at the center on Friday, December 19 at 6:15 pm and Santa will appear on Sunday December 21 at 1:30 pm.

The festival will end on December 21. The museum is closed on Mondays.
