Clearwater County Fair Calendar Raffle winners for September 8 was Allen Paulson of Shevlin. He will receive the $100 from the Fair.
The Gonvick American Legion Fish Fry will be held on Saturday, September 13 at the Legion Cabin. Serving starting at 5:00 p.m. Come and visit with your friends and neighbors.
Thursday, September 11 at noon is Bingo Day at the Clearbrook-Leonard Senior Center. Call 776-3154 if you wish to have a meal.
The Lake Agassiz Regional Library in Gonvick is open three days a week for you to get a book, reserve movies, books and to download to your ipad. The days are Monday from 9 to 11, Wednesday from 3 to 5 pm and Thursday from 3 to 6 pm.
Sports games coming up this week
The Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears football team will be hosting Border West on Friday, September 12 at 7:00 p.m. The Bears won their football game over BDGR last Friday by a score of 20-0.
The Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears Volleyball team will travel to Mahnomen for a game with Mahnomen-Waubun. On Thursday, September 11 they will host Kelliher-Northome.
Curtis Olson at the Oak Lake Golf Course in Erskine is offering Hit the Green for your school. In September 50% of course fees will be donated to the school designated by the golfer.
The Clearwater Quilters Guild meets the 3rd Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of each month at the Gonvick Community Center. They sew on their projects and visit. Contact Carol Peterson at6 218-791-2177 for more information.
