Clearwater County Fair  calendar raffle winner for September 1 was Katie Queen from Temple, GA. She won the $100.

Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears Volleyball games next week include hosting Bagley on Tuesday, September 2 and traveling to Nevis on Thursday, September 4.

Clearbrook-Gonvick Bears Football game next week will be traveling to Badger for a game with BGMR. Their last game was on August 28 when they traveled to Win-E-Mac for a game. The Bears won in convincing manner with a score of 42-12. The first quarter had four touchdowns with Grant Engen, Dakota Erickson, Ryan Gerlofs and Carver Kroulik each scoring.

The next Clearbrook City Council meeting will be on Monday, September 8.

The next Clearbrook-Gonvick School board meeting will be on Monday, September 15.

Pumpkin Day and Car show is Saturday, September 27 in Gonvick. Lots of fun things for the day. The last big event before winter sets in.

Thought for the Day…. Every time we try to eat healthy, along comes Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Friday or Tuesday and it ruins it for us.
