Gonvick Pumpkin Day

The 10th annual Vintage Collectors Vehicle Show will be held on Saturday, September 26th along with Pumpkin Day.

No entry fee and the top five winners will receive $100.00 for bringing their car to Main Street in Gonvick. Registration starts at 9;00 a.m. with cut-off time at noon. Wild Wes will be providing 50s and 60s music for the annual show until 2:00 p.m. There will be a Jam Session for those who wish to participate at 2:00 p.m. A sound system will be set up in front of the Gonvick Community Center for the Jam Session and if it rains the session will be held in the Gonvick American Legion.

Other activities include a flea and produce market that will be in the Clear Waters Life Center (old school) from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Space is available inside and out.

Hickory Backroads Photography will have a photo shoot in her new space on Main Street in Gonvick from 10 to 2:00 p.m. The shop is located next to Kandi’s Restaurant and Clearwater County Nursing Service office.

New this year will be a Children’s Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest starting at 10:00 a.m. outside of Kandi’s Kitchen. Project must be complete by noon. Winners will be announced at 12:30. Please bring your own chalk as a limited supply will be available if needed.

There will also be games, raffles and the pumpkin weigh off for the largest pumpkin grown at 3:30 p.m.

The event is sponsored by the Gonvick Diamond Jubilee and the Gonvick Community Club.
