Clearbrook Elevator holds annual meeting

The 2025 Annual meeting of the Clearbrook Elevator Assn. was held on Friday, March 21 at 3:00 p.m. at the Clearbrook Community Center Legion Room. Coffee and refreshments provided by Ag County Farm Credit services was served.
The meeting was called to order by Board President Richard Kroening. Board Secretary Nolan Eck, read the minutes from last year's annual meeting.
The financial review of 2024 was presented by Marshall of Carlson SV. The balance sheet shows assets of $1,796,851. The Statement of Operations Net Loss was $57,860. This was taken from the Unallocated Reserve, with $313,128 to carry forward. The Elevator passed along $46,726.07 of DPAD deductions that the patron's can use to reduce their taxes.
Manager, Ryan Holm, thanked all our customers for their business. 2024 was a year of may changes, from a new manager, to the purchase of Community Oil last fall. We are expecting 2025 to be a good year for us. Community Oil is a good fit for the Elevator, both in location and in offering services to our customers, especially our area farmers. We will have roller chain along with other items coming back to Community Oil.
At the Elevator, Croplan will be our seed provided this year for corn and soybean seed. A mineral sale will be coming in early April. We now carry silage tarps along with net wrap. We will be renting out the land roller again this summer.
As a cooperative, we sincerely thank everyone for their business and hope to continue to grow.  The meeting continued with a vote for Joel Stenseng to continue on the Board of
Directors.
The meeting was adjourned and everyone left with a door prize of their choosing. Prizes were donated by the Clearbrook Elevator, Community Oil, Purina, Dakota Wholesale Tires, Quality Liquid Feeds, Falken Tires, RJ Hunt Seed Co., OK Tire. Two special prizes of Elk meat were donated by Dennis Engebretson.
