2 Loons in a new location

2 Loons Letters and Threads has a new location in Gonvick. Jay Jones has moved from the Clear Waters Life Center and is now on Main Street. He had been at the old school since he and "Gus" Vettleson started the business in February of 2015.
Since that point Gus went on to a job at Bemidji State University and Jay continued with the business. He provides screen printing, embroidery, heat transfer, vinyl sign work and design services. That has been done for many events, schools, business places and church groups in a large area.
Jays fabric and inks is purchased from different vendors. He uses Plastisol ink which is not water based. The dryer is set at different degrees depending on the material. That is to ensure that the design will stick on the fabric. Doing the orange shirts for the logo he had the temperature set at 330 degrees which was nice as it was cooler outside. Warmer days not so good.
