Services for Daryl “Bucky” Hinrichs

There will be a memorial service for Daryl “Bucky” Hinrichs of Shevlin, MN who passed away at home, November 20, 2022, at the age of 83.
The service will be held May 20, 2023, at the middle shelter of the Bagley City Park at 11:00 a.m.
Daryl was born November 17, 1939, to Deitrich and Marie (Wilson) Hinrichs in Shevlin, MN. He joined the Navy in December 1957 serving on the USS Aldebaran (AF-10) until November 1961. He married Judith Wallace in February 1961, and they had six children, Daryl (Lorie) Hinrichs, Leslie (Don) Heinonen, Kenneth Hinrichs, Rita (Steve) Halvorson, William ‘Joe’ Hinrichs and Cassandra (Dave) Newman.
Bucky worked grain elevator construction for several years, traveling across Minnesota, Iowa and Kansas moving back home to Shevlin in 1972. Once back home, he started logging and farming, and enjoyed helping and spending time with family and friends. He is greatly missed by his wife, children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
