Happy Feet Daycare in Gonvick

There is a new Daycare in town. Happy Feet Daycare in Gonvick opened earlier this year in May and has been in operation ever since. The Owner of Happy Feet is Paige "Hamnes" Prestemon she loves working with kids and says, "I just love their personalities they’re so funny." Paige is married to Blake Prestemon and is the daughter of Dale and Trudi Hamnes.

The Daycare is open at 7:15 a.m. and closes at 5:15 p.m. The Daycare is open all year long. Paige has 5 to 6 kids in attendance and plans on another one soon. Right now Paige’s age range is 2-10 year olds but she can also have infants.

Some things that the kids enjoy doing there are painting, going to the park, making muffins and doing puzzles. Paige plans on starting a healthy food program to teach the children what foods are good and bad for them. They also recently got a tracing table that will help teach children draw. She also plans on doing a pajama day and a costume day sometime soon.

The children’s favorite lunch to have there is Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli, Mandarin oranges and Milk. Their favorite snack is Apple juice and Goldfish or Animal Crackers. They have a lot of outside playtime when the weather is nice. Paige plans on putting up a fence around the yard with toys for the kids. The Daycare has children from Gully, Gonvick, and Clearbrook.
