Clear Waters Life Center to be on LPTV Common Ground

The story of how Clear Waters Life Center (CWLC) became the subject of an episode of Common Ground began just a little over two years ago.  The topic in our Executive Team meeting that day was how to market CWLC.  It wasn’t unusual to hear from someone who shopped at Shop-at-the-Top or Grow It! Greenhouse, “Oh, I never knew that you did all those other things.”  CWLC wasn’t new; it had been around for 10 years at that point.  One of our team said, “Have you ever watched Common Ground? They do episodes of local interest. Maybe, they would do one on CWLC.”

It was meant to be.  With just one phone call, we were able to connect with Scott Knudson, Managing Legacy Producer/Director.  He was very interested.  In just a few short weeks, he had started filming.  It was spring 2018, and he started filming in Grow It! Greenhouse & Garden Center. Every aspect of CWLC was covered from Youth Connection to Senior Connection, Mustard Seed Homes to interviews with our Executive Directors, and Restore It! Furniture Shop to Friday Night Out!  

Who knows, you could be on television? For certain, someone you know will be. The episode will appear on the Common Ground PBS Facebook page, Wednesday April 22, 7:00 AM. It will broadcast 36 hours later on Thursday, April 23, 7:00 PM on Lakeland Prime, and will repeat several times over the weekend on their Prime & Plus channels.  If you don’t have Lakeland PBS as part of your satellite or cable service, use their Facebook page for viewing.  We can’t wait for you to see it and hear what you think?
