Gully Day 2015

If you haven’t already, be sure to mark your calendar for this year’s Gully Day celebration on July 18th. There will be fun activities and entertainment throughout the day. Check out what we have in store for you:
9:30 a.m. Hot, fresh coffee and delicious bars and rolls at the Lund Lutheran Church, prepared and served by members of the Lund Ladies Aid.
10:00 a.m. Ren Holland will speak about the Jefferson Highway at the Lund Church.
11:30 a.m. Kids’ games will begin at the town park???? We’ll have fun and prizes.
11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Lunch will be served at the Lund Church. A variety of tasty salads, barbeques, and desserts will be available, again prepared by the Ladies Aid.
1:00 p.m. North vs. South Gully Knowledge Bowl held at the Town Hall. Come and see the best minds of Gully battle it out to decide, once and for all, who is the smartest of them all.
2:00 p.m. Live music at the Town Hall, performed by the lovely and talented trio of Carole Tharaldson, Robin Norgaard and Tonya Tharaldson.
3:30 p.m. The ever-popular and funny Auntie Kreamsaugen will perform at the Town Hall. Come on in and have a laugh or two!
5:00 p.m. Back by popular demand, the rematch of the North vs South tug-o-war will continue until a winner is declared, or the rope breaks, whichever comes first!
6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Musical concert by Big Bass Ramblers at City Hall.
9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Live music at Shorty’s Bar performed by Scarlot County featuring Elisa Scott as vocalist, a band from the Twin Cities.

The Gully Tri-Coop, School house Grocery, Gully Café and Shorty’s will be open regular business hours throughout the day, for whatever you may need. There is truly something for everyone at Gully Day. Why not drop in and see for yourself? You’ll be glad you did!
