Randy grew up farming with his father, Duane. While still in high school Randy recognized his desire to live his life farming and in 1978 he started renting his own land. Over the years, his operation grew with the help of his wife, Josie, and their children, along with Randy’s dad, brother and uncle. Currently, the Myhres farm 1,600 acres raising corn, soybeans, peas, wheat and ryegrass.
Randy and Josie’s son, Aaron, farms 200 acres on his own and helps with his parents’ farm. Aaron and his wife, Rebecca, have two children: Jackson and Connor. The Myhres’ daughter, Amanda, is married to Mike Dailing and welcomed a daughter, Peyton, to their family in May.
Randy and Josie are members of Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls.
They’ve enjoyed being involved in their kids’ school and sports events over the years in addition to community events. Josie handles accounting and tax preparations and currently serves as the Terrebonne Township clerk. Randy and Josie enjoy spending time with their family.
