Gonvick's 29th Annual Rodeo

Lonny English was chosen by the Gonvick Lions Club to be their Grand Marshall for the 29th annual Rodeo parade. The daughter of Marvin and Shirley Eck has been a resident of Gonvick all her life. She is a 1975 graduate fo Gonvick Trail High School. Her son Casey and daughter-in-law and their two daughters Madeline (5) and Elsie (2)  were home from the cities to watch grandma in the parade. Lonny is the manager of the Y-92 Convenience Store in Clearbrook. She is a member of the Gonvick Legion Auxiliary, Samhold Lutheran Church, The Gonvick Pumpkin Growers and works with the All-school Reunion Committee. She likes to attend area sports events, walking, baby sitting, mowing her lawn and working in the garden, visiting customers and drinking coffee. She is being driven in the parade by Gonvick Lion member Dick Richards.
