Services for Lisa Martinson

Lisa Martinson, 40, of St. Charles, formerly of Clearbrook, Minnesota received her Angel Wings on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at her home in Leonard, MN.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Leonard, Minnesota at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Bob Kirchman officiating.   Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements. A service will also be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Evangelical Church in St. Charles, MN.

Lisa was born on November 20, 1978 at Grand Forks, North Dakota the daughter of David and Pauline (Ehlers) Miller.  She was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Leonard.  Lisa graduated from Clearbrook-Gonvick High School with the class of 1997.  In 2003, she graduated from Saint Catherine’s in St. Paul.  Lisa married the love of her life, Scott Martinson, on August 30, 2014 at the farm in Leonard.  They lived in St. Charles and she worked for Crenlo as a Supply Chain Analyst in Rochester, Minnesota.  Lisa enjoyed her husband, her family, cooking canning, baking, flower gardening, playing games and cards.  Last summer, Lisa took 65 items to the Winona county fair.  She won 44 blue ribbons, 12 red ribbons, 2 white ribbons and the overall sweepstakes winner in baking and canning. Lisa looked forward to November, because she would be coming home for deer season. She was very active in 4-H, Lisa was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Leonard and now a member of Faith Lutheran Church in St. Charles, Minnesota where she played in the Bell Choir.
