Grygla Elementary Read Across America Day

Last Friday, the Grygla School celebrated Read Across America day.  Elementary students participated in some special activities to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday and finish out I Love to Read month. Students had the option of wearing pajamas to school that day and were allowed to bring a blanket, stuffed animal or pillow to help them be more comfortable while they read throughout the day. In addition to reading in their classrooms, students read by flashlight in the gym and also watched a movie in the library! The weather was nice enough to allow for some free time outside on the sledding hill, too. Photos courtesy of Grygla School
