Many changes at Security State Bank and Agency have occurred over the past year starting with new tellers, some tellers leaving or retiring, and this year already has brought more changes. Anthony Holthusen, who came to Security State Bank 10 years ago, has moved on to a new position which moved Wyatt Vettleson in to the position of Executive Vice President of Security State bank.
With this change, a new gal, Jenna Schommer was hired as the new insurance agent for the Agency. She is from McIntosh and went to school at Win-E-Mac, graduating in 2011. Her parents are Gary and Rebecca Schommer and she has two siblings, Marea and Donelle. She is also engaged to Nick Drellack.
Jenna started in October of 2018. She is enjoying meeting all the new people and she can help them out with their insurance needs. Some of her duties are setting up new customers for auto and home insurance. She also will be assisting with auto and personal loans and is always willing to answer customers questions.
This is Jenna’s first job in the banking/insurance area and is learning new things which she enjoys. She said she is thankful to work in a small community and getting the chance to get to know everyone.
The other new face at Security State Bank is Becky Olson. She is married to Tyronne Olson and they have two children, Korby and Henry. Becky also started in October and she is enjoying her new job at Security State Bank and has been learning all the different duties required of tellers. Becky is ready to assist you if you need to open accounts with the bank, with Bonds and online banking. This is her first job in the Banking services and enjoys working close to home and the added flexibility in this job.
In addition to the personnel changes at Security State Bank, everyone has been noting the addition that is being worked on as weather permits. This expansion will include new offices and a larger handicap assessible bathroom. There is also going to be some remodeling to the teller area to make the bank more modern and up to date.
