Benefit for Julie (Engesether) Dulka

 A benefit for Julie (Engesether) Dulka will be held on Saturday, March 2nd 3pm-8pm at the American Legion in Red Lake Falls.

In 2010, Julie (Engesther) Dulka of Red Lake Falls, daughter of Marvin Engesether (Plummer), was diagnosed with a Type 2 Ependymoma tumor that was located inside her spinal cord. She underwent surgery right away, but a small portion remained. Julie suffered some neurological symptoms as a result of that surgery. In 2018 her scans showed that the tumor had grown and was backing up spinal fluid this time. She again, underwent surgery at St. Mary’s Hospital at Mayo in Rochester which was a great success. However, there was even more nerve damage in her legs leaving her disabled and unable to return to work. Please join us in supporting Julie and celebrating what has been a very rough recovery.
