Plummer Lions Invitational Speech Meet

The Plummer Lions Invitational Speech Meet was held at the Red Lake County Central High School on Saturday, February 9th. The eight schools/teams that attended and participated were Crookston, Red Lake County, Roseau, Ada-Borup, Fosston/Bagley, Warroad, Lancaster, and Warren-Alvarado-Oslo. There were 19 students who competed for the RLC team, 12 of which placed in 13 events.
Speech results for RLC were Jonathon Rue receiving second place in Creative Expression, Phillip Sorenson receiving second place in Discussion, Mariah Peterson and Sage Hartman receiving fourth place in Duo, Lily Hanson and Lacey Pendelton receiving fifth place in Duo, Autumn Houghtaling receiving second place and Halie Thompson receiving fifth in Extemporaneous Reading, Mariah Peterson receiving third place in Humor, Remi Rathsack receiving first place in Original Oratory, Sage Hartman receiving fifth place in Prose, Madelyn Yde receiving sixth place in Prose, Danny Guillemette receiving first place and Jayden Iverson receiving fourth place in Poetry.
