December Students of the Month

Lacey Pendelton and Paul Malwitz received December Students of the Month for Red Lake County Central High School. Pendelton was nominated by Mrs. Roberta Aakhus and Malwitz was nominated by Mrs. Kathryn Tran.

Pendelton is a senior at RLCC High School. She is active in volleyball, softball and speech. She enjoys drawing and playing the piano in her free time. She is the daughter of John and Tammy Pendelton and has three siblings, Monica, Katie and Amy. 

Aakhus commented that, “Lacey has always written well thought out stories and book reports and has given her heart to volleyball and softball. She has been active in the arts in band as a flute player and competed at different contests and performed those pieces at different concerts for our community.”

The December junior high Student of the Month for RLCC is Paul Malwitz. He is 13 and is in seventh grade. His parent’s names are Tracy Malwitz and Ben Malwitz. His siblings are John Malwitz and Grace Malwitz. His favorite thing to do in his free time is playing games on the computer. 

Mrs. Kathryn Tran nominated him. She commented, “I have had the pleasure to have this student in my science class. He always comes to class prepared and is always one of the first students ready to go. He is very kind, respectful, and a very hard worker. He always has a smile on his face.” She also noted that his smile brightens her day.
