Oklee Area Veterans’ Memorial Update

Recently 2 more granite blocks were installed at the Oklee Area Veterans’ Memorial thanks to the help of John Lerohl.  The block purchased for Bud Christoferson by Envald and Kathleen Christoferson of Los Alamos, CA was placed in the walkway south of the gazebo.  In addition, the block purchased for Janet Dulka of Trail by her husband, Rick Dulka was placed in the south walkway as well. John Lerohl has volunteered his help in placing many of the blocks that are in the walkways at the Veterans’ Memorial and his help has been appreciated.  

Laura Hawkins, and Derek and Beth of Stillwater have made a donation in memory of Alice Bluemke who was well known in the Oklee community.  Alice lived in rural Oklee for most of her life.
