David Felch is Border State Bank Chief Executive Officer

The official date for the change over from First State Bank in Clearbrook to Border State Bank in Clearbrook happened on Monday, October 15. David Felch is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Border State Bank in Clearbrook. He is also the CEO of the Border State Banks ten locations across Minnesota including Badger, Baudette,, Coon Rapids, Greenbush, International Falls, Lancaster, Middle River, Roseau and Thief River Falls. The Border State Bank Board of Directors named Felch (CEO) of Border State Bank, following the retirement of longtime CEO Robert Hager. Felch had been the Chief Strategy Officer for the banks before that point.
Felch is originally from Kenmare, North Dakota and a graduate of Moorhead State University with a degree in finance. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
He won’t be spending much time in Clearbrook as Mark Juve is the President of the bank in Clearbrook who takes care of the day to day operations and has been there since July of 2010. There are 150 employees in the various banks that belong to the Border State group.
David lives in Fargo with his wife. They have two grown children. He enjoys being outside.
Border State Bank is an FDIC-insured bank founded in 1935 and currently based in Greenbush, MN. The bank has equity of $51.8 million on assets of $506.9 million, according to December 31, 2017, regulatory filings.
