Goodridge/Grygla Schools hold Homecoming next week

It’s that time of year again where the Goodridge and Grygla Homecoming candidates have been chosen and the festivities have been planned for each school.

Next week marks the special occasion!

Goodridge has set their 2018 Homecoming theme as “Into the Stars.” Coronation will be held on Monday, October 1st, at 3pm in the Goodridge School Gymnasium. Dress up days will be: Monday: Hillbilly Day, Tuesday: Twin Day, Wednesday: Dress Like Your Younger Self Day, Thursday: Crazy Weather Day, Friday: Charger Pride Day.

The Homecoming Advisor for Goodridge is Lacey Hruby.

Grygla has set their 2018 Homecoming theme as “Night at the Movies.” Coronation will be held Monday evening, October 1st, at 7pm in the Grygla School Gymnasium. Dress up days will be: Monday: Marvel Monday (Superhero Day), Tuesday: Grey’s Tuesday (Doctor Day), Wednesday: Hunger Games (Survivalist), Thursday: Great Gatsby, Friday: Grygla Night Lights (Charger Pride Day).

The Homecoming Volleyball game will be on Thursday, October 4th, in Goodridge vs. KCC. The Homecoming Football game is set for the next evening, Friday the 5th, in Grygla vs. KCC. The Grygla Merchants will be holding their annual tailgate party prior to the game. There will also be pepband both nights, along with the court getting introduced prior to each game. A dance for 7-12 graders will be held following the football game Friday night at the Grygla School, ending at midnight. The cost for students to attend is $6.

Grygla School activities for the week include door decorating, games on Friday afternoon and a pepfest.
