Dean and Tresa Knutson, celebrated their 30th Wedding Anniversary last week got a sweetheart carriage ride in rural Clearbrook Sunday. The carriage is decorated with hearts and flowers, and the mules are all decked out with bells and painted tails. It was quite a sight to see! Curfman's Critters from Thief River Falls arrived in the rain and wind for the ride, and it looked like the event might not take place. But after the storm blew over, the mules George and Gracie who are over 20 years old, happily took off with the honored couple aboard.
Owners Ted and Jan Curfman who take great pride in their venture, are all dressed up to chaperone. Family and neighbors who visited and they wanted to get a carriage ride too.
