Goodridge Historical Society celebrates 40 years

Held in conjunction with the Freedom Festival, the Good-ridge Historical Society will celebrate 40 years of preserving area history! What a big day for this small town!
The Goodridge Historial Society is made up of eight buildings located around town. The Country Museum, Depot, Telephone Building, Woodrow Schoolhouse, Settler’s Building, Brown House, Log Barn and Log House all have interesting and original stories to them. Most also house countless pieces of history that help tell the story of Goodridge, MN.
First started by Lynn and Norma Hanson, the GHS buildings have all been established and maintained over the last 40 years. The buildings are open on Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and also by appointment. Margie Coan is the current President of the GHS and can be contacted if you have any questions or want to take a trip down memory lane.
