Lengby Fosston Knightriders Snowmobile Club 4th Annual Spring Shoot-Out Radar Run draws huge attendance

The Lengby Fosston Knightriders Snowmobile Club held their 4th Annual Spring Shoot-Out Radar Run on Saturday, March 10. The weather was great and the races ran on schedule on Ouff Lake, which is 2 miles west of Fosston on Hwy 2 next to the Golf Course. Mark Fjerstad, one of the organizers of the race, said that this was the best race they have had yet and had a huge attendance, approximately 300 people.

For the race there were eight different classes with 1st and 2nd place awards plus cash prize drawings for Radar Run Classes. Final statistics: 104 entries in the radar run, 368 passes down the track, with an average speed of 114.8 mph.

There were other races as well, the Ice Lemans/Vintage and the 120 & Side by Side race. 

After the races awards were given at Ventures Bar & Grill in Fosston.
