Spin-Tacular Basketball Show at RLCC

Red Lake County Central High School hosted the Spin-Tacular Basketball Show in their gymnasium on Thursday, February 22. The Spin-Tacular Basketball Show is an act put on by Bruce and Diane Crevier and six of their 12 kids.
The Crevier family with their act has performed in 40 countries, in the finals of Americas Got Talent, and during half-time of the 2016 game six NBA Finals. During their show at RLCC they demonstrated spinning a ball on their finger in many ways, including on a 10 ft. tall unicycle as well as, juggling basketballs and bowling pins on these 10 ft. tall unicycles. They also demonstrated dribbling drills including one where four members of the family went around in a circle and continuously switched dribbling two of the eight balls that were used.
The family also spoke about being the Champion of the G.A.M.E. The G in G.A.M.E stands for Goals; they shared that without setting goals, motivation can be hard to find. The ‘A’ stands for Attitude; they explained that the attitude you carry can have an impact on your life. The ‘M’ stands for morals; morals was about making the right choices and helping others. The ‘E’ stands for Excellence; they encouraged you to lead an excellent life and go above and beyond to achieve your goals and doing things for others.
The Spin-Tacular Basketball Show invited many students and staff, including RLCC’s principal Randy Pederson, to participate in the show. The show was entertaining and had a great motivational message.
